Cameron is a Sacramento native who brings his passion for Sacramento as well as his experience in venture capital and management consulting to Social Venture Partners of Sacramento where, as the Executive Director, he leverages leaders in business, education, and the arts to create sustainable and scalable impact by reinventing philanthropy. He is responsible for strategic planning, fundraising, building collaborative efforts, and innovating the nonprofit sector. Under Cameron’s leadership, the SVP Fast Pitch program, had its most successful event to date raising over $220,000 in cash awards and in-kind support.
In addition to his work in the nonprofit sector, Cameron is highly active in the innovation ecosystem where he is a member of the iHub network and is the lead organizer for a community economic development program, 1 Million Cups, where he works to empower and elevate Sacramento entrepreneurs growing a supportive ecosystem for innovation.
Cameron has a Master of Business in both Social Impact & Sustainability and International Business from The University of Queensland, Australia as well as a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics from UC Davis. He seeks to use his global perspective to build a thriving community and create a lasting change on the Sacramento landscape.
