Eamon Gibbons
Eamon C. Gibbons is a dynamic entrepreneur and advocate for youth empowerment through entrepreneurship. Holding a Bachelor's Degree in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies Global Campus, Eamon has dedicated his career to fostering a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in Dominica.
Since joining the Dominica Youth Business Trust (DYBT) in 2021, Eamon has held several key roles, showcasing his versatility and commitment to youth development. As a Social Enterprise Administrator, he was instrumental in coordinating social entrepreneurship training and elevating awareness of social entrepreneurship initiatives across Dominica. His passion for nurturing budding entrepreneurs led him to serve as an Enterprise Development Officer, where he provided invaluable guidance to DYBT entrepreneurs in business plan development and entrepreneurship training.
Currently, as a Project Officer, Eamon plays a pivotal role in an EU-funded project aimed at "Fostering a Supportive Network to Empower Youth Towards Stronger Economic Development." In this capacity, he continues to champion the cause of youth entrepreneurship, working diligently to create opportunities and support systems that empower young people to realize their economic potential.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Eamon is an active community leader and volunteer. He served as the Immediate Past President of the Leo Club of Dominica, where he found great joy in serving the community through various outreach and service projects. Recently, he has also joined the Nature Isle Toastmasters Club, further honing his communication and leadership skills while connecting with like-minded individuals.
Eamon's multifaceted involvement in entrepreneurship, community service, and personal development exemplifies his dedication to making a positive impact on society. His contributions to youth entrepreneurship in Dominica and his commitment to community service are paving the way for a brighter, more prosperous future for the next generation of business leaders.
