Elaine Gold

Elaine is an independent consultant and Co-Founder and, until December 2023, MD of GEN UK (one of over 200 country affiliates of the Global Entrepreneurship Network). Elaine became active in GEN over 15 years ago when living in the Middle East for eight years, and leading GEN Qatar for 2 years.

Her background is in leadership and organisational change. She worked with two global consultancies, holding senior management positions and delivering programmes tailored to clients’ needs. Her work covered change management, leadership development, team building and one-to-one coaching.

Elaine has travelled to over 40 countries and delivered workshops and speaking engagements in over 20. This experience informs her understanding of working across cultures and within diverse organisations.

Today, Elaine focuses on helping founders, professionals and leadership teams use AI with confidence and sound judgement. She sees AI Adoption as a cultural change project, not an IT project. Through consultancy, training and individual support, she helps clients choose appropriate tasks and tools, give clear instructions and check the results. Her approach combines practical AI adoption with human connection, helping businesses save time while protecting their voice, relationships and reputation. She retains a particular interest in supporting female founders as they develop their confidence in using AI to grow their business and leadership skills.
