Ivan Sandjaja

Ivan Sandjaja received his Diplom Ingenieur in Chemieingenieurwesen (Chemical Engineering) from the TECHNISCHE UNIVERSITÄT BERLIN, Germany before he received his degree in Bio-Chemistry from the UNIVERSITY OF SAN DIEGO, California, USA. He began his career as a lab. Technician in a chemical industry in the late 1990s before he became the VP and the COO of an Anglo-German chemical manufacture in 2000. To enhance his business skills, he has joined business management courses through COGNIS COLLEGE Program in Düsseldorf, Germany. He has worked in many locations in Asia and Europe before he became a Professional Management Consultant for local Family-Managed Enterprises starting in 2005. He entered the academic sphere in 2008 as the Principal of the largest and most prominent private Christian International School in Jakarta as well as an Adjunct Lecturer at the ABFII PERBANAS Institute in Jakarta before he joined the CIPUTRA University in Surabaya, East Java, in 2011 as the Entrepreneurship Curriculum Advisor. In 2013, he returned to Jakarta to supervise one of the first incubators in Indonesia, the CIPUTRA-GEPI Incubator and to lead the Office of International Relations of the Ciputra Entrepreneurship Foundation. He was appointed the Managing Director for the Global Entrepreneurship Network Indonesia in January 2019 whose mission is to help the local entrepreneurs to grow and support the Indonesian entrepreneurship ecosystem. He was appointed as the Vice-Chair of KADIN Permanent Committee for Entrepreneurship which is the extended arm of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry to support national entrepreneurs until 2021. Currently, he is supporting the International Federation of Real Estate (FIABCI) Indonesia as well as serving as business mentors for several international organizations
