I am passionate about a future driven by creative and responsible technology development. We need a better world, not just a bigger, busier one. I am putting my energies into helping others be successful. I have always focused on doing things that have never been done before. That has led me to introducing new technologies and applications in fields as diverse as aircraft maintenance, digital imaging, policing, defence, maritime maintenance, space, urban development, real-time simulation and many more. I have founded and co-founded more than 20 ventures on three continents, successfully exited some as a founder and others as an investor, including achieving 100x returns. I work to realise my vision through action, leadership, investment, education and collaboration. I have worked in many countries, co-founded a Silicon Valley software firm, built global distribution networks and consulted to governments on three continents (walked and slept on all 7 continents!!). My VC firm delivered one of the best performances in Australian VC, I initiated and led an organised national Angel investor community in Australia, founded and lead the Melbourne Angels and continue as an active member of Angel leadership in Australia, NZ, Asia and the USA. Being an Angel is one of the most rewarding and enjoyable things I have done.
