Rethabile is a passionate and purpose-driven entrepreneurship ecosystem builder committed to supporting startups and enabling sustainable economic growth in Lesotho. He currently serves as Programme Support at Sky Business Inc. (SBI), one of the country’s leading Entrepreneurial Support Organisations (ESOs), where he plays a key role in coordinating and delivering incubation programmes and business support services.

As part of a six-month incubation programme at SBI, Rethabile worked closely with early-stage entrepreneurs, serving in a dual capacity as both Programme Support and Intern. In this role, he was involved in coordinating training workshops, facilitating access to mentorship, and helping startups refine and validate their business models. This experience gave him deep, practical insight into the realities of building and supporting new ventures, and strengthened his capacity in programme design, delivery, and ecosystem engagement.

Alongside his work at SBI(SkyBusinessInc), Rethabile also serves as Project Lead in Quality Control at Mploy Market Research, where he oversees field operations and ensures the integrity and reliability of research data. He leads teams responsible for monitoring data collection processes, verifying results, and maintaining high-quality standards—ensuring that research insights can be trusted to inform entrepreneurship development and policy. His leadership in this role reflects a strong commitment to evidence-based support and learning within the entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Rethabile has recently been appointed Programme Manager for GEN Startup Huddle Maseru, an initiative under the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN). In this new role, he will lead efforts to connect, showcase, and elevate local startups by organizing monthly pitch sessions, fostering peer-to-peer learning, and linking founders to opportunities within and beyond Lesotho. His appointment reflects his growing influence in the entrepreneurship space and his ability to deliver inclusive, high-impact programmes.

Academically, Rethabile holds a Bachelor’s degree in General Agriculture, with a specialization in Agribusiness. His educational background gives him a unique perspective on entrepreneurship in one of Lesotho’s most vital sectors, allowing him to connect innovation, research, and sector development in meaningful ways.
With experience that spans programme implementation, startup support, quality research, and community engagement, Rethabile is dedicated to building an entrepreneurial ecosystem that is inclusive, data-informed, and future-focused. His vision is for a Lesotho where young people and underserved entrepreneurs are equipped and empowered to lead sustainable, transformative businesses that create lasting value for their communities.
