Ramatu Ibrahim

My name is Ramatu Ibrahim. I am a  serial and social entrepreneur. I am called  the Entrepreneur’s Entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the entrepreneurial scene that makes me  understand how businesses and social enterprises work. I am  currently the MD of Pure Garment International Limited, a dry-cleaning firm with world-class service that I have been managing for 10 years. I am the Executive Director of Sahel Pearl Foundation, an NGO focused on women and youth. 

I  graduated from the Kaduna Business School and the Enterprise Development Centre, Pan-Atlantic University (Lagos Business School). I am  also a graduate of the Dry Cleaning and Laundry Institute in Maryland, USA, where I sharpened my  skills as a professional, dry-cleaning business owner with various certificates under my  belt. I am a  significant leader in the Global Entrepreneurship Network in Nigeria and the zonal coordinator for the Kaduna state ,  North West zone. I have  won several awards for my meticulous efforts in hosting the Global Entrepreneurship Week in Kaduna due to my passion for youth progress through education and personal development. 

I am an alumna of the 2019-2020 cohort of the African Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative (AWEC), where I  was given the commitment award and honoured as a brand ambassador. I  received my  license as a Business Development Service Provider (BDSP) in Nigeria in recognition of my  work in youth education after going through a thorough interview with the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) and the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN). I am currently on board with the MasterCard Foundation Project called the Transforming Nigeria Youths (TNY) program in partnership with the Enterprise Development Centre EDC as a Business Development Service Provider(BDSP)

I am currently the vice president, African Women Entrepreneurship Program (AWEP) North West Zone, Nigeria. I am involved in several projects that aim to aid the development of youths in the North of Nigeria, especially young women from remote areas, whom I believe need to be part of the educational and entrepreneurial ecosystem to partake in developing their businesses and communities.

I am passionate about business development, customer service, business strategy, and product development. I like  to speak on business model canvas, business growths,  customer relationships management, and other related topics.
