Ted Bischoff

Ted Bischoff is a Hamburg-based ecosystem builder, co-founder of Harbour Labs 53° and Chairman of Harbour Club°, both official partners of the Global Entrepreneurship Network. Within the network, he also initiated Startup Huddle Hamburg, which he leads as Chapter Lead.

Harbour Labs 53° is a non-profit startup lab for student entrepreneurs and young founders. Through it, Ted helps shape an ecosystem in which students and young founders can take their first steps. Harbour Club° brings founders, students and ecosystem builders together and connects startup ecosystems in Hamburg and beyond. The aim is to help develop the Hamburg startup ecosystem further, with formats such as Hamburg Valley°, a knowledge platform, and the Hamburg Valley Summit°, which brings many of the city's organisations together during Global Entrepreneurship Week.

Before that, Ted spent two years with START, where he supported community building, events and partnerships and co-founded the event format Waves of Innovation and the Harbour Founder Summit, an English-language startup summit in Hamburg. Outside of ecosystem building, Ted is deeply rooted in the pet market, where he develops new ventures.

Ted is passionate about community building, especially bringing the right people together and seeing what grows out of it.
