Violeta Moran Carofilis
Violeta has been working on the development of the entrepreneurship community since 2011. She works for Fundación Emprender where she is is the National Campaign Coordinator for GEW Ecuador and the Community Builder for GEW Ecuador. She is also Member of the Board of Girls in Tech Ecuador, a global non-profit focused on the engagement, education and empowerment of influential women in technology and entrepreneurship. She is a member of Techstar Community and has helped to organize Startup Weekend Guayaquil, Startup Weekend Womens Edition, Startup Weekend Youth, Startup Weekend Universities, and Startup Weekend Agrotech. She is a proud mother and a consistent advocate for women empowerment and the role of women in entrepreneurship.
