GEN in Uzbekistan

GEN began operating in Uzbekistan in 2017 when it partnered with AMBiT and TEAM University to organize the inaugural Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) campaign. The initial campaign was a great success and to led to a growing number of partners and activities in each subsequent year. GEW strengthens the ecosystem by celebrating Uzbekistan's entrepreneurs, encouraging people to consider founding a new business, and helping to break down barriers. Through the relationships it has developed with key Uzbek ecosystem stakeholders, GEN has become a hub of the ecosystem offering entrepreneurs opportunities to participate in Startup Huddle, and international events and competitions. These smooth the path to market for Uzbekistan's entrepreneurs at all stages of growth and provide mentoring and the support necessary to reach the next level. As Uzbekistan’s startup ecosystem continues its rapid ascent, GEN works to deepen the connections between Uzbek founders and the world’s leading entrepreneurship communities.
