On 27 November, TEAM University hosted the opening ceremony of the 1st day of the Global Entrepreneurship Week.
Hikmat Abdurakhmanov - Country Director of GEN in Uzbekistan, co-founder of TEAM University, Feruz Dodiev - Head of International Relations Department of the Committee on Tourism, as well as Professor Alex Candor - Dean of TEAM University addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. Konstantin Obolensky, Ambassador of Switzerland to Uzbekistan, was the guest of honour at the event.
The opening ceremony was followed by the panel discussion "Closed Cycle Economy: from concept to practical implementation in Uzbekistan".
On the same day, with the support of the Swiss Embassy in Uzbekistan, an exhibition "Can Tech Save the World?" was organised at TEAM University, focusing on technological solutions of Swiss companies aimed at sustainable development.
The 1st day of GEW Uzbekistan 2023 ended with a visit by students and teachers of TEAM University to the office and dark kitchen of Express24.
