The 2nd day of the Global Entrepreneurship Week was held on 28 November 2023. The 2nd day was hosted by the branch of the Turkish University of Economics and Technology in Tashkent (TOBB ETÜ Tashkent).
Adham Ikramov, Minister of Youth Policy and Sports of RUz, Rector of TOBB ETÜ Tashkent, and Muzaffar Kasymov, co-founder of TEAM University, addressed the participants of the event with welcoming speeches.
The event started with the plenary session "Alternative energy and green technologies as key directions of Uzbekistan's development", during which representatives of such international organisations as UNDP, UN Global Compact, GIZ, Global Environment Facility spoke.
In the 2nd half of the day, an orientation seminar for green startups under the Green Start programme and a seminar on green industrialisation for industrial companies under the DeveloPPP.de programme were held. The event ended with a lecture for students and teachers on the topic: "Sustainable entrepreneurship in the transition to a green economy".
