Founder, Vik Ramprakash is the CEO Structured Monitoring Products (SMP). SMP is developing a small, portable, touchless pulse and respiration rate monitor that employs patented Doppler radar technology. Today’s state-of-the-art vital signs monitors are still using wired lead and electrodes placed on the body. SMP’s contactless vital signs monitor requires no attachments and can function continuously through any range of body positions.

A Gen II Beta product now in development continues to measure vital signs at distances up to 10 feet without noise, heat, light or any undue disturbance. The veterinary market is being targeted initially and human applications will follow. The State of Florida made a $50K matching grant for prototype development.
