Wake Tech Idol
Welcome to Wake Tech Idol - Season 8!
We have a double header this year with the Business Music Pitch Competition starting promptly starting at 6:00pm and the Wake Tech Idol at 7:00pm.
Two great shows for the price of one. Get ready to witness an electrifying evening filled with mind-blowing performances, jaw-dropping talent, and non-stop entertainment. Join us at Wake Technical Community College - Scott Northern Wake Campus located at 6600 Louisburg Road, Raleigh, NC, USA.
This in-person event promises to be an unforgettable experience for all music lovers out there. So, mark your calendars and get ready to cheer on your favorite contestants as they battle it out for the coveted title of Wake Tech Idol. Contestants in the singing competition have the opportunity to compete for scholarship prizes of $2,000 for first place, $1,500 for second place and $1,250 for third place.
Our guest judges this year are, Brian Dawson from K97.5, Jacqueline Whittenburg, Co-Founder and Executive Director, The Dereck Whittenburg Foundation, and Terminator X, Rapper and Producer from the Rap group, Public Enemy. Don't miss out on this incredible showcase full of incredible talent!
