On Tuesday, February 18, 2020, Oknha Sok Piseth, President of GEN Cambodia participated in the 1st Cambodia Customs Forum at Phnom Penh Hotel.
Presided over by HE Dr. Kun Nhim, Delegate of the Royal Government of Cambodia in Charge of director General of the General Department of Customs and Excise (GDCE), Co-chair of the custom-private sector Partnership Mechanism (CPPM), and Neak Oknha Kith Meng, President of Cambodia Chamber of Commerce.
The 1st Cambodia Customs Forum was conducted to contribute to promoting trade facilitation as well as enhancing private sector compliance by injected knowledge of understanding to the private sector. This initiative is jointly organized by GEN Cambodia, Young Entrepreneurs Association of Cambodia (YEAC), General Department of Customs and Excise (GDCE) and Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC) inviting more than 100 representatives from various enterprises in Cambodia as participants.
During the Opening session, Oknha Sok Piseth shared his pleasure and honor to be part of this event representing GEN Cambodia and how he looked forward to positive output from this partnership. The main topics presented during the event are as follows.
