Barranquilla, August 19, 2025 — With a call to continue strengthening the entrepreneurial fabric of the Colombian Caribbean, Startup Huddle Barranquilla celebrated its second anniversary, establishing itself as a key space for connection, learning, and visibility for emerging ventures in the city.

Since its launch in March 2023, the program has supported more than 40 local startups, building a network of over 500 participants, including entrepreneurs, mentors, business leaders, and partner organizations. Each month, Startup Huddle becomes a meeting point to present business ideas, receive constructive feedback, and connect with real opportunities.

"Barranquilla is a cradle of talent and creativity. In these two years, we’ve seen how entrepreneurs empower themselves, dare to present their ideas, and make their way with determination in the ecosystem," said Ricardo Peña, the program’s local organizer.

The second anniversary celebration had a special highlight, as it coincided with Startup Huddle Barranquilla’s participation in Startco Medellín 2025, one of the most important entrepreneurship and innovation events in the country. There, ventures supported by the program will have the opportunity to showcase their business models, interact with investors, and put the Caribbean region on the national entrepreneurship map.

"Being at Startco will be an incredible showcase. We’re bringing the message that innovation is also born in Barranquilla — that powerful and scalable solutions are being built here," said Milton Miranda, founder of Binnstart, one of the startups representing the city at the event.

During the local anniversary event, success stories were highlighted, alliances were strengthened with key players like IEEE Entrepreneurship, Founder Institute, CEIPA University Institution, and NOTION Colombia, and new mentoring and acceleration spaces for 2025 were announced.

With this milestone, Startup Huddle Barranquilla reaffirms its commitment to building a strong founders community, highlighting entrepreneurial talent, and contributing to economic development through innovation.
