An appetite for risk and problem solving is inherent in being an entrepreneur.

This universal entrepreneurial mindset is something we hold in common - but the way we apply it to unique challenges offers learning opportunities for us all. Rural and regional innovation is part of the wide-ranging program at GEC 2023, curated to spark solutions that create real change. It’s a focus area that transcends borders, politics and economics. The entrepreneurial ecosystem in a small town in Brazil may have more in common with a similar-sized town in Australia, Kenya or the United States than it does with larger cities in its own country – or any of the world’s massive startup hubs.
