The conference took place at the TES factory, attracting over 600 attendees, including renowned angels, VCs, and startups from around the world. The event featured various sessions and panel discussions where technology startups in Axel's portfolio presented their businesses to attract investors to the region.

The conference included four-panel discussions with high-profile speakers, both from Georgia and abroad, including:

  • The Angel Investor's Playbook: Essential Advice for Building a Winning Portfolio
  • Investing in Women: Social Responsibility or Smart Decision
  • Shaping the Startup Journey: Advice from Angels
  • Building in Startup Ecosystem: Insights from Stakeholders

During these discussions, the speakers shared their experiences and provided valuable advice on angel investing, the role of women in the ecosystem, and tips for startups on presenting business ideas, maintaining motivation, and building productive teams.

Axel's Investment Ecosystem Conference was a significant event that aimed to put Georgia on the international map and strengthen the investment ecosystem in the country. The conference helped to popularize the investment potential of Tbilisi, foster business ties with European countries, create opportunities for Georgian companies and attract both local and foreign investments.

The conference was attended by delegates from Europe, America, and the Caucasus region, who had the opportunity to meet with representatives from local private and public organizations to gain insights into the development of the Georgian startup and investment ecosystem.

According to Iro Tsagareishvili, the managing director of Axel, the conference's success was the result of collaboration between more than 60 organizations and companies. Axel's partners played a crucial role in supporting the team and the participating investors throughout the three-day program. This ecosystem-wide event marked a significant milestone in Georgia's investment landscape.

Guri Koyava, the managing partner of Axel, emphasized the importance of the conference in attracting new international investments and strengthening the culture of angel investing in Georgia. Axel plans to organize more large-scale events where angel investors from the region, Europe, and America can gather and explore promising startups in the country and pave the way for future collaborations and opportunities in its investment ecosystem.
