One of the most exciting features of Global Entrepreneurship Week is the diverse range of the more than 35,000 events organized in the 170 countries that make up the Global Entrepreneurship Network. This year’s global themes include GEW Youth, GEW Women, GEW Inclusion and Ecosystem Connect.
During the week, many GEW campaigns around Asia feature government officials and highlight the importance of the right policies and regulations to ease entrepreneur's lives. There are also quite a number of countries that focus on social entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurs’ social impact.
South Korea
One of the campaigns focusing on the social impact is GEW South Korea, featuring a large number of entrepreneurs who have a positive social impact on the Korean society. On November 12-13, the GEW celebrations at the Dragon City Hotel in Seoul will feature:

Palestinian Territories
According to Salah Amleh from Growth Development, the official GEW host for the Palestinian Territories, “GEW is in its sixth year and growing. We have 75 partners each committed to at least 1 event.”
GEW Palestine will focus on the Ecosystem Connect theme this year and will feature a celebration of startups during the opening on November 13, with 250 VIP attendees. The Prime Minister’s office, the Minister of Telecommunication, the Ambassador of Poland and chairmen of multiple local corporations are among the supporters of the week showcasing the Palestinian startup ecosystem. Private sector funders of the week include, Palestine Investment Fund, Coca-Cola, and Arab Bank. The Chairman of Coca-Cola and the founders of Middle East’s unicorn Careem are expected to take part in the week. For further information, visit GEW Palestine website.
Singapore
GEW in Singapore this year is showcasing the entrepreneurial journey of Singapore’s youngest innovators. According to Jayren Teo from EDGE, the official host organization of the week, GEW Singapore will also focus on gathering insights to develop an Inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem. The celebrations started early this year with the ASEAN Youth Conference 2018 between 7 to 9 November. The official GEW Singapore kick-off took place on Monday at SCAPE Singapore.

Georgia
This year GEW Georgia will feature a policy hack, which aims to improve the communication between public and private sectors and create new innovative solutions related to entrepreneurship for the decision-makers in policy.
The teams will feature a minimum of three representatives from the state, private and civil sectors. The participants will work together with mentors to develop ideas on the lean policy canvas. The event language is Georgian, final presentation will be presented in English.
