AARP Foundation’s Work for Yourself@50+ is pleased to join the Global Entrepreneurship Network in celebration of Global Entrepreneurship Week!
Work for Yourself@50+ is an entrepreneurship program through AARP Foundation, the charitable affiliate of AARP. The program, which is partially funded by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, was conceived in 2016 as a way to build economic opportunities for vulnerable older adults.
Since its inception, Work for Yourself@50+ has served more than 14,000 people across the country in two ways -- by partnering with local organizations across the United States to host workshops and by providing free online resources, including a Five Simple Steps Toolkit, to aspiring entrepreneurs.
If you’re interested in bringing Work for Yourself@50+ to your organization, please contact AARP Foundation’s team at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you’re over 50 and also interested in starting a business, you can download our toolkit to get started or check out our events page to find a workshop near you.
