On Nov. 10, the Global Entrepreneurship Network partnered with FedEx and Inner City Capital Connections for a panel discussion with entrepreneurs who have leveraged executive education programs as well as the small business resources offered by FedEx to grow, innovate, and scale their business as they expand nationally and internationally. These businesses also previously participated in the Inner City Capital Connections (ICCC) program, a leadership training program for entrepreneurs sponsored through FedEx’s Global Citizenship Initiative.
In his opening remarks, GEN President Jonathan Ortmans, adopting a term from the Kauffman Foundation, said Global Entrepreneurship Week is about fostering "inclusive prosperity".
"Economies suffer when people are left out," said Ortmans. "This Global Entrepreneurship Week, we're going to small towns and communities where people have been historically underrepresented in the startup ecosystem to make it easier for them to be part of this world.
The panel was moderated by Steve Grossman, CEO of the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City in Boston, MA. He was joined by:
