$10k in prizes to be awarded at Danville Pitch Competition

The Trep School plans to continue its annual Trep OnTrack Danville Pitch Competition for Global Entrepreneurship Week 2022. Tricia Teague, founder of The Trep School, explains “We provided more than $7,500 to three Danville businesses. Two of them used those funds to open brand new locations. So, we're excited for our 2022 event because we've increased the prize funds to $10,000 for greater impact." 

Penn State Wilkes-Barre provides support, feedback for entrepreneurs

Global Entrepreneurship Week expands to the Penn State campus, with the help of the Idea Hub at Penn State Wilkes-Barre. Wilkes-Barre has planned many events for Global Entrepreneurship Week, including sessions titled “Grow with Google” and “Sell Online with E-Commerce Tools,” as well as a tecBRIDGE Entrepreneurship Institute Student Conference. 

EOSERA Announces Three EmpowHERment Pitch Finalists; One Woman-Led Company Will Win $10k

Innovate Newport to host blue tech pitch session in November

Blue tech companies in Rhode Island will have the opportunity to participate in a Shark Tank-style pitch competition called “Piranha Pond” in November. The event, sponsored by Blue Venture Forum, the Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce, South Coast Entrepreneurs Collaborative, and the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, is offered during Global Entrepreneurship Week 2022. 

Celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Luncheon planned at ICTC

The Indian Capital Technology Center (ICTC) is hosting a luncheon to celebrate the successes of local entrepreneurs ahead of Global Entrepreneurship Week. The Entrepreneur Lunch will host successful entrepreneurs, including Tammye Howell with Premier USA, Elizabeth King with King PR & Marketing, and Dan Morris with Advantage Controls. Advisors from the Oklahoma Small Business Development Center and the Cherokee Nation Small Business Assistance Center will also be in attendance.
