With Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) celebrations happening in more than 200 communities throughout the United States, the GEW USA team is seeking enthusiastic ecosystem builders to build and grow GEW campaigns while highlighting the strength of entrepreneurship in their state and community.
GEW is not possible without ecosystem builders, entrepreneurial support organizations, colleges and universities, and entrepreneurs hosting activities that support founders on their entrepreneurial journey or expose individuals to entrepreneurship as a career choice. GEW may only happen once a year, but the resources, connections, and experiences during the week can make a lasting impact on an ecosystem or entrepreneur's life.
If you are interested in taking a leadership role in the 2022 celebration, learn about the State Coordinator and Community Organizer roles we are seeking to fill:
State Coordinators are well connected throughout the state and multiple ecosystems. They are responsible for recruiting Community Organizers state-wide and keeping their finger on the pulse of GEW activities throughout the state. State Coordinators should also focus on encouraging communities within their state to collaborate where applicable, and seek out VIP participation from policymakers, notable CEOs, or local celebrities.
Community Organizers plan at least one GEW activity, encourage organizations and individuals to do the same, and provide leadership as they build a local GEW campaign. Community Organizers expose their ecosystems to the global celebration and hopefully start conversations about entrepreneurial resources and their ecosystems that can continue throughout the year.
