Jonathan interviews entrepreneurs, heads of non-governmental organizations, renowned economists, CEOs and high-ranking policy leaders about innovative approaches to empowering founders and unleashing the entrepreneurial potential of anyone, anywhere.

Hi, this is Jonathan Ortmans, I’m a serial entrepreneur and President and CEO of the Global Entrepreneurship Network.
We’re dropping a new podcast this month called Unleashing Ideas.
It’s a mini-series kicked-off during Global Entrepreneurship Week, a movement I co-founded with partners around the world in 2007.
Over 15 years, this movement has reached all corners of the planet, inspiring and empowering people to unleash their ideas and take the next steps on their entrepreneurial journey.
It’s not necessarily about starting companies, but about the creative process of experimentation, finding solutions, and creating a better future for all.
It’s about dispelling the myth that to be a successful founder, you have to live in a place like Silicon Valley, London or Shanghai.
Or, if you want to attract entrepreneurs to your community, that you have to replicate those models.
Because entrepreneurship can, in fact, thrive anywhere. We’ve seen it happen, and it’s powerful.
We want to share what we’ve learned.
