Entrepreneurship can thrive anywhere. We’ve seen it happen, and it’s powerful. To amplify this, Global Entrepreneurship Week is back with a new theme for 2023 - Entrepreneurs Thrive Here. This campaign is designed to share stories and events of entrepreneurship around the world - from rural farming communities and regional industry hubs to smart cities, cultural capitals and seats of government. It will celebrate the entrepreneurs who have built our communities, those who are defining our future, and those who are taking risks and testing new ideas along the way. It will amplify entrepreneurial culture and open doors to those who have yet to experience its magic.
Communities in 200 countries are taking part, with tens of thousands of activities planned around the world. Events will take place throughout November, with main attractions taking place Nov. 13-19, and will reach 10 million people worldwide.
Global Entrepreneurship Week is open-source. Everyone is invited to participate - by hosting events, making announcements, or joining the conversation through social media and thought leadership. Regardless of how you participate, we want to hear why entrepreneurs are living and thriving where you are. What makes a community a home to those with big ideas and bubbling ambitions? How are you growing your entrepreneurial community and welcoming new members? What should the aspiring entrepreneur in your neighbourhood know about local support systems? What can the world learn from you, and you from others?
