Over the past 13 years, Global Entrepreneurship Week has seen countless examples of creative activities and resource focused activities that inspire entrepreneurs. Each year, GEN aims to capture some of these activities to share with our global audience as examples that can be replicated in other ecosystems.

GEW 2020 saw many campaigns get creative in the types of activities they were hosting to engage audiences virtually while also providing entertaining and informative sessions. In the wake of this influx of new activities, the GEN team has created a new GEW Ideas Bank.

The GEW Ideas Bank for 2021 has dozens of suggested activities that anyone, anywhere can use in their community to celebrate GEW. The ideas are organized by the four GEW Global Themes: Ecosystems, Education, Inclusion and Policy. Many of the suggested ideas include links to the original activity so that people can see how the activity was originally implemented. The Ideas Bank is a wonderful resource for anyone planning activities for their first GEW celebration. If you don’t know where to start, the Ideas Bank can spark creativity and lay the groundwork for activities in your community.
