Aspiring undergraduate student entrepreneurs, can get a head start on their venture through International Competition for Entrepreneurs (ICE). The international, intercollegiate entrepreneurship competition, business expo and business conference, is for aspiring undergraduate student entrepreneurs from various nations around the globe including Jamaica. A graduate student division and non-student entrepreneur expo will also be a part of ICE 2024!
Slated for June 11-13 at the University of the West Indies Western Campus in Montego Bay, it gives students at chance to win US$20,000 (J$3,100,000) to get their business off the ground. The competition will also educate aspiring student entrepreneurs on launching ventures through feedback from judges during the friendly competition. A lateral goal of ICE is to connect both aspiring student entrepreneurs and experienced entrepreneurs with resources (financial, educational etc...) useful to their academic and entrepreneurial lives. ICE also aims to stimulate cultural exchange through friendly competition.
