GEN began operating in Hungary when it partnered with the Young Entrepreneurs Association Hungary (FIVOSZ) to organize its annual Global Entrepreneurship Week campaign. GEW in Hungary builds a bridges between entrepreneurs and young people interested in entrepreneurship. During the campaign, FIVOSZ produces the Career & Business Show, which has encouraged a wide range of young people to start their own company.

The show has featured speakers successful Hungarian entrepreneurs including Sándor Demján, József Palásti, Andy Vajna, György Klapka, Erika Kósa, and Levente Balogh. The aim is to strengthen entrepreneurial culture with a new approach and to create opportunities for those interested. 

GEN helps celebrate, understand, support and connect entrepreneurs and those who champion them by operating a platform of projects and programs in 200 countries aimed at making it easier for anyone, anywhere to start and scale a business. GEN helps break down siloes and enhance collaboration among entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, researchers and startup community leaders through its virtual platforms and numerous live events, including its Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC) and GEC+ series and by co-hosting other events across the globe.
