GEN Thailand

In 2011, GEN partnered with Ayana Co. Ltd to bring its flagship Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) campaign to Thailand. The initial campaigns successfully brought in partners from Thailand's nascent entrepreneurial community and grew steadily. In September 2017, GEN and Thailand's Ministry of Digital Economy and Society hosted GEC+ Bangkok over four days that included a comprehensive regulatory sandbox workshop, and a thorough examination of the government's Thailand 4.0 Digital Agenda. A core GEN program in Thailand is Pitch@School—a youth venture-creation program that pairs students with corporate partners and coaches to turn early ideas into workable pitches. GEN supports Thai founders through its global programs and maintains relationships with a range of Thai institutions and partners, including the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, Vajiravudh College, and the Business Angel Network Southeast Asia (BANSEA). GEN has helped position Thailand as a regional connector within Southeast Asia's entrepreneurial community while connecting its founders with the knowledge, networks, capital, and policy support they need to start and scale.

Entrepreneurs Thrive Here: Global Entrepreneurship Week 2026

Millions of people around the world have the ideas, talent, and ambition to build something better for themselves and their communities — but have never seen entrepreneurship as a path available to them. Global Entrepreneurship Week, taking place November 16-22, 2026, changes that. This campaign meets people where they are and connects them to the networks, tools, and support to take that first step — showing what’s possible in their own communities.
