The rational As aspiring young entrepreneurs we recognize that we live in a world that is increasingly requiring us to create our own niches using our passions and creativity in this ever-changing economy. However, we recognize that entrepreneurship  is not commonly taught in schools to young people, who will be the backbone of society in the years to come. As a result many young people do not engage with nor understand the qualities and skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur until we reach adulthood.   We are a team of ten postgraduates at Goldsmith’s University studying the MA of Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship and are proud to partner with The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust. The announcement of this collaboration will happen in Global Entrepreneurship Week 2015. The project will start in early 2016.   The Aim Our mission is to introduce young people to entrepreneurship as a way to explore more promising future paths filled with passion and possibilities. By engaging delegates from the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust in workshops, we aim to encourage creative and entrepreneurial thinking in young people by providing interactive sessions around relevant themes to help spark ideas and encourage action.   Project Objectives: Increase aspirations and confidence in young people in pursuing entrepreneurship. Increase entrepreneurial skills and thinking through practical, hands-on workshops. Host inspiring guest speakers to give motivationals.
