Initiative for Teaching Entrepreneurship

Don’t say ‘begin’ – but ‘take part’ A responsible market economy needs self-confident entrepreneurs and mature citizens who help shape their own and their society’s future in an offensive way. Without the dreams of visionaries and people who put ideas actively into practice we would live in another world nowadays. There would be no fine arts and no schools, no cars and no medication, no state of law and also no consumer protection if people did not take a stand for ideas and did not change social rules with civil courage. To be economical has to be learned and studied from generation to generation anew. It is wrong to believe that economy and democracy can be inherited. Each generation is once again challenged to develop these competences, ideas and values which are important for their lives and their society. The aim of our initiative is to promote young people’s entrepreneurial spirit and values for self-employment and professional independence – as an instrument for equal opportunities and as strengthening of the individual economic creativity for the European market.   What does IFTE do?
