National Association of Young Entrepreneurs (ANJE)

The National Association of Young Entrepreneurs (ANJE) is the leading membership based young entrepreneurs association in Mozambique, a non-profit organization, legally registered since the beginning of 2010, whose mandate is to support young people in business. Primarily aimed at people between the ages of 18 to 35 who own businesses, ANJE also offers support to non young entrepreneurs who face similar barriers to those of the youth. It has more than 600 members nation-wide and many partnerships with public and private organizations such as the Commercial and Investment Bank (BCI), Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Work, Labour and Employment, Institute for the Promotion and Small and Medium Enterprises (IPEME), the American Embassy, UNESCO, among others. ANJE works in two main streams: lobby and advocacy for the design and implementation of laws, policies and programs that are more conducive for entrepreneurship; and capacity building of youth in businesses and those aspiring to. ANJE supports the establishment of a socioeconomic system capable of ensuring the Inclusion, Sustainability, Diversity and Competitiveness of our Economy. ANJE is a member of: • Confederation of Business Associations of Mozambique (CTA) • Portuguese Speaking Countries Federation of Young Entrepreneurs (FAJE CPLP) • Commonwealth Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs for Southern Africa (CAYE-SA) • Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) Mozambique   A Associação Nacional de Jovens Empresários (ANJE), fundada em Fevereiro de 2010, é a maior organização de jovens do sector privado, sem fins lucrativos, formada por cerca de 600 jovens empresários e iniciantes, dos 18 aos 35 anos de idade. Parte das suas actividades incluem como beneficiários individuos acima dos 35 anos que enfrentam desafios tipicos da fase da juventude. O objectivo da ANJE é promover o empresariado juvenil através da capacitação empresarial e advocacia por um ambiente de negócio favorável aos Jovens.  A ANJE tem vários parceiros publicos e privados que incluem, mas não se limitam ao Banco Comercial e de Investimentos (BCI), Ministério da Juventude e Desportos, Ministério do Trabalho, Emprego e Segurança Social, Instituto para a Promoção de Pequenas e Médias Empresas, Embaixada dos EUA, UNESCO, dentre outros. A ANJE defende o estabelecimento de um sistema econômico social capaz de garantir a inclusão, sustentabilidade, diversidade e competitividade da nossa economia.
