TMUC Islamabad organised a two-day event to celebrate GEW 2016 on 17-18 November 2016. The Millennium Global Entrepreneurship Week (MGEW '16) began with a mega fashion show "The Millennium Fashion Parade" showcasing creations of Iconic entrepreneurs from the fashion industry and TMUC students aspiring to launch their labels. Pakistan's Top Models including Rubiya Chaudhry walked the ramp with TMUC students from Islamabad and Rawalpindi campuses. Eminent designers from the Fashion industry- Fahad Hussain, Obaid Shaikh, Ayesha Ibraheem, Nauman, Ivy prints, Labels - showcased their exquisite designs on the ramp. This was followed by a musical evening featuring Nescafe’ Basement and Bakshi Brothers.
The second day consisted of panel discussions by leading entrepreneurs. The first panel discussion, "Ignite the Entrepreneur within- The Success Stories" was targetted at aspiring entrepreneurs to demonstrate to them how they can overcome challenges when setting up their own businesses. The second panel discussion was focused on "Junior Entrepreneurs: Today’s Small Idea Tomorrows Big Business" and demonstrated how small ideas can lead to astounding success. MGEW '16 ended with a Music Night where Zamad Baig and DJ Stone performed for the entertainment of young entrepreneurs.
