Three Investments Ignite a "Funding Summer"

Epic Angels has successfully closed three consecutive investments, setting off a "funding summer" and pushing total deployed capital beyond the $1 million USD milestone since their start in November 2021.

By the Numbers:

  • 19 companies funded: Across various sectors in the APAC region.

  • $700K invested in 2023 alone: With an average deal size of $90K, and largest investment $200K this year.

  • Over 225 Female Investors: Representing a global community with diverse backgrounds.

  • 200% yearly growth: In the number of active investors within the network.

"We founded Epic Angels to be a platform where female executives could get from 'zero to one' in early-stage startup investing. Today, with a 200% yearly growth rate and over 225 female investors, we're not only meeting but exceeding those initial goals. Our collective is making a real, meaningful impact in the APAC region, and this is just the beginning," said Maaike Doyer, Co-founder of Epic Angels

A platform for more than just capital

Apart from financial investment, Epic Angels also provides startups with mentorship and access to a global network. This holistic approach helps female-led companies in APAC succeed and grow.

Hester Spiegel, Co-founder of Epic Angels explains, "Founders seek us out for more than just capital; they value the breadth of expertise and support our network can offer. The high level of trust within our community leads to better investment decisions and, ultimately, greater impact."
