On Wednesday 18th, Autoocupació organized a mock edition of Startup Huddle Barcelona. It was held in Can Deu, with more than 40 participants from the mentoring program. Two entrepreneurial challenges were presented: Becadvisor by Pilar Moliné, and “Soc el que vull ser” Entrepreneurial Online Community by Guillem Arís.
Startup Huddle is a program designed to educate, engage and connect entrepreneurs. As an experiential learning opportunity, the Startup Huddle format is consistent in each location: on a given date, one or two early-stage startup founders give a six-minute presentation of their companies to a diverse audience of peers, mentors, educators, and advisers. Each presentation is followed by a 20-minute question and answer session.
“It was a real success! Everyone was enjoying and actively participating” Albert Colomer, Managing Director of GEN Spain, said. “We are positively surprised by the good response of the participants and the way they enjoyed the session. That is why we are confident we will, for sure, make other editions of it. The next one, on November 21st, during GEW.”
