The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has forced all nations to adapt and evolve exponentially, pushing the boundaries of science and technology. As pressure increases to create more sustainable and equitable economies, the world is at a pivotal moment.

It is time to reboot businesses and our global economy; rethink how we live, work, and create ideas that move us forward; and regenerate the momentum of our communities, cities and countries.

To do so, we need to empower entrepreneurs. Vibrant, scalable, and high-performing entrepreneurship ecosystems share common characteristics that provide a roadmap for recovery from a pandemic that has devastated communities and economies everywhere.

Rising to the challenge and ready to rebuild are those that make up these entrepreneurial ecosystems - entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and community leaders from 200 countries. Thousands of these startup champions will gather during the Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC) March 27-30, 2022, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The GEC will be one of the first live global gatherings of startup champions since the onset of the pandemic.

Autoocupació, leader of GEN Spain, will lead the Spanish delegation to GEC 2022.

The main theme of GEC 2022 is Reboot, Rethink, Regenerate. The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated massive changes in consumer behavior and citizens around the world adapted quickly to a sudden and unexpected shut down of normal life. As pent-up demand from consumers is released, entrepreneurship is surging. At the same time, nations are rallying to reboot, rethink and regenerate their economies through cross-border collaboration on policies and programs that target a better, more sustainable and equitable post-pandemic world. The GEC focuses on the intersection between these trends.
