The Global Entrepreneurship Network and Hello Alice, in partnership with LISC, have awarded $5,000 grants to five small businesses through the Local Business Support Fund administered by GEN's Small Business Grants Program (SBGP).
The Small Business Grants Program launched in 2020 to support entrepreneurs impacted by the pandemic. With support from several partners, the program has connected hundreds of entrepreneurs with more than $8 million in business support grants.
Along with generating less than $1M in annual revenue, the recipients of the Local Business Support Fund share a steadfast commitment to their customers and community, and have a clear plan to use their grant funds.
”The funds from this grant will help launch our grassroots marketing campaign as we not only raise awareness of The Young Musician’s University but also the importance and many benefits of music education,” said recipient Tembi Gray of the GMG Performing Arts Center.
Congratulations to all these inspiring entrepreneurs!
