This year has brought on a number of changes in our business ecosystem. Many startups have had to adjust or pivot their entire business model to grow. As a result, GEW Gwinnett County's program will provide resources on how to thrive during a pandemic. The Gwinnett Global Entrepreneurship Week conference will be filled with inspiring speakers, experts and movie directors.

This conference will cater to the startup community looking for useful tips on how to be successful in the world of entrepreneurship. The Gwinnett GEW conference will be held online as a virtual event. We welcome all business gurus, women entrepreneurs, enthusiastic youth, and "teacher-preneurs" to participate in this incredible conference. The theme this year for GEW Gwinnett is “Thriving During a Pandemic.” The discussion will be focused on the latest survival tips and start up ideas for a rapidly changing climate. Their networking event and virtual roundtable discussion will give people the opportunity to speak with successful entrepreneurs and discuss the latest trends in the startup community.

Franchesca Thompson is the GEW Community Organizer for Gwinnett located in Snellville, Georgia. I am an educator and entrepreneur always seeking innovative ways to engage curiosity amongst my students and clients. I am currently working at South Gwinnett High School as the entrepreneurship teacher, and I run an educational resource company called Paper Birch. I recruited an incredible team of other educators and business advisors around metro Atlanta to support this year’s initiative.

We planned an event that would reach teens, college students, new and experienced entrepreneurs. This conference is designed for anyone to learn about business and innovation. Gwinnett GEW’s goal is to impact the lives of youth and give hope to all entrepreneurs looking for motivation. The planning team understands that throughout history, terrible events have led to great transformations. This virtual conference is all about positive transformation. GEW Gwinnett would like to inspire change, give hope and bring about a great experience, November 16-22, 2020. We want you to thrive!
