The Global Entrepreneurship Network has partnered with Tiger Global Impact Ventures and Hello Alice to launch a new grant program. The Accelerate(HER) Fund sponsored by Tiger Global Impact Ventures will provide grants up to $50,000 to support women entrepreneurs building breakthrough technologies or tech-enabled companies. These entrepreneurs should have a demonstrated need for funding and a plan to reach their next stage of growth.
The fund is one of a number of grants undertaken by the Global Entrepreneurship Network to provide direct support to entrepreneurs. Since launching the GEN Small Business Grants Program in 2020, the program has connected more than 600 entrepreneurs with grants totaling over $10 million.
To be eligible for the Accelerate(HER) Fund, a business must:
- Be a for-profit technology or technology-enabled company
- Be majority woman-owned and operated (51%+)
- Have not (yet) received funding from angel or venture investor
Applications will be accepted until August 5, 2022, at 6 p.m. ET.
Applications will be reviewed by a committee in accordance with review criteria outlined in the terms and conditions. Recipients will be notified via email and publicly announced in early September 2022.
