Humberto Paredes

Humberto Paredes has been involved in youth activities in many fields since he was very young. He began his career a the age of 18 at Fundación Paraguaya, implementing and coordinating leadership and entrepreneurship programs. He has traveled to the 17 departments of the country (Paraguay), visiting public and private high schools. Since he was 19, he has represented Paraguay in regional youth events in Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Uruguay, and later applied and obtained scholarships to participate in international conferences and congresses in Germany, France, Russia and Japan, where he has participated in the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations at Keio University in Tokyo. He was declared Ambassador of Caaguazú city by the local authorities and Outstanding Young Person by the Junior Chamber International organization. Selected by the Organization of Ibero-American States to participate in the Meeting of Young Leaders 2015 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has completed a Specialization about Public Policies in Adolescence and Youth from FLACSO (Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences) with the support of the Organization of Ibero-American States. Invited by the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Paraguay to be part of the International Young Leaders Forum "New Generation" 2016 in Moscow, Russia. He has participated in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) of the US Department of State, a prestigious professional exchange scholarship awarded by the Embassy of the United States of America in Paraguay, 2017. Invited by the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russia, to visit Russia as an International Observer for the 2018 Presidential Elections. He has collaborated with documents in the field of adolescence and youth such as the document "Paraguay 2030, with the cooperation of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). He is currently in the area of Sports Diplomacy at the National Sports Secretariat of Paraguay.
