GEN Accelerates Teams Up with Microsoft Innovation Centers
GEN Accelerates virtually administered, via the GEN Accelerates platform, a program for a global network of Microsoft Innovation Centers (MICs) across Latin America, Asia, and Eurasia. This Pre-Accelerator was designed to provide entrepreneurs at four (4) pilot Microsoft Innovation Centers with the tools and resources needed to complete the idea validation process, begin rapid prototyping, develop a product and go-to-market strategy, and improve the variety of soft skills needed to succeed as a startup founder.
GEN Accelerates worked alongside four MIC sites in Chile (Santiago), Armenia (Yerevan), Nepal (Kathmandu), and Pakistan (Karachi). In total, there were 88 participating entrepreneurs across all sites. This twelve week intensive program also trained Microsoft Innovation Center managers through four months of virtual and one week live/onsite structured programming to direct programs and create supportive cultures for growth.
GEN Accelerates recruited and coordinated with over 50 international experts and mentors for trainings and mentoring sessions, and delivered all educational and programmatic details through the GEN Accelerates Platform.
