The Creative Business Summit took place on Wednesday, 19th November 2025, at Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja G.R.A, Lagos, bringing together 155 participants, including creatives, entrepreneurs, investors, and ecosystem enablers, as part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week Nigeria 2025 activities. The summit explored the theme “Create. Collaborate. Grow: The Business of Creativity.” The event opened with a powerful keynote address by Dare Aliu, Group Managing Director of TDA Group, who shared forward-looking insights on the evolving landscape of creative enterprise in Nigeria and across Africa. His keynote underscored the importance of innovation, intellectual property protection, digital transformation, and strategic collaboration as key drivers of growth in the creative economy.
A major highlight of the summit was the engaging panel discussion title“Collaborate to Elevate: How Partnerships Drive Growth in the Creative Sector.” The session brought together leading voices committed to shaping the future of creative business in Nigeria: The panel explored practical strategies for building strong industry collaborations, scaling through partnerships, leveraging storytelling and brand authenticity, and navigating the challenges of operating within Nigeria’s dynamic creative landscape. Panelists emphasized how partnerships can amplify visibility, unlock new markets, and strengthen value chains within the sector. Beyond the discussions, the summit created a vibrant platform for networking and creative exchanges,. Participants had the opportunity to connect, showcase their ideas, and explore potential collaborations with stakeholders across film, fashion, media, design, advertising, and digital innovation. Overall, the Creative Business Summit reinforced the growing importance of Nigeria’s creative economy and highlighted the need for continued investment, collaboration, and innovation to fuel sustainable growth.
