Members of the Paraguayan delegation held a coordination meeting prior to their participation in the world’s largest Entrepreneurship Congress called GEC+, which will take place in Puerto Rico. There, they hope to learn from experiences and gather contacts with key players who can help improve and strengthen Paraguay’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The Forum represents a strategic opportunity for Paraguay, facilitating the acceleration of the development of the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN). It will also allow delegates to present the national vision to GEN’s global leaders and explore new opportunities to enhance the sector.
Opportunities and Expectations
Participating in this Congress brings many expectations of meeting people who can support and contribute to the improvement and projection of the growth of the Paraguayan ecosystem of entrepreneurship and innovation, as mentioned by German Barreto, coordinator of the Startup Lab., who is part of the delegation.
He highlighted that it is the first time he is going in conjunction with the Vice Ministry of Mipymes and expressed gratitude for the opportunity. “I believe it will help a lot with international contacts, especially with other colleagues who have more experience in the area in which we operate and who can provide us with that experience,” he commented.
For her part, Carolina Luzardi, from Open Innovation, specializing in open innovation, emphasized the opportunities that this type of Congress brings and the possibility of interacting with highly skilled individuals. She considered it a valuable experience, as networking can be extremely valuable for Paraguay. “I am looking forward to meeting various actors and then being able to link up and connect from Paraguay with all of Latin America,” she pointed out.
During the event, the delegation will participate in master sessions, strategic planning, and practical training. They will also have ample opportunities to establish contacts with founders, investors, ecosystem creators, educators, and policymakers.
