StriveRobotics Advances to EWC Global Finals in November ahead of Global Entrepreneurship Week
Singapore, Singapore – StriveRobotics is a startup that uses robots to measure and identify the learning abilities of students. The project Robot-In-Box captured first prize at the national finals of the Entrepreneurship World Cup competition held recently in Singapore.
Strive Robotics, is an education start-up that focuses on Empower Underprivileged Youths in Asia be future-ready for automation and use it to their advantage. Founder, Tan Kok How is an Electrical & Electronics Engineer passionate about getting students excited about robotics and broadening their perception of engineering.
“We aim to customize the learning experience based on the patterns we identified. Currently, we have Arduino robot and drone products that can be made from recycled plastics. Through this, we are solving the lack of creative thinking, problem-solving and accessibility to industry 4.0 education in Southeast Asia.” Said Strive Robotics’ Tan Kok How. “We have an advantage over our competitors with market access to more than 300,000,000 youths under 35 years old through our partnership with ASEAN Youth Organization.”
StriveRobotics' Robot-In-Box, is a robotics kit that is backed by data-driven e-Learning application that identifies and measure the learning abilities and development made by the student. In preparation for the EWC Global Finals,Tan Kok How and his team will participate in an acceleration program which features virtual training and one-to-one mentoring targeted to their company’s current stage and growth trajectory.
Robot-In-Box emerged victorious from a pool of 69 contestants who applied – each receiving access to free virtual training services to help them take their venture to the next level.
More than 102,000 contestants from 184 countries entered the Entrepreneurship World Cup. The initiative combines a broad-reaching pitch competition, aimed at ventures ranging from the idea stage to the growth stage, with a virtual accelerator program to help all participants launch, strengthen and scale their enterprises. Global Finalists will face off against one another at the Misk Global Forum ahead of Global Entrepreneurship Week in November 2019.
