On 27-31 March 2022, the Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC) will be held in Riyadh. The Congress is the only one of its kind to bring together leaders from around the world to explicitly focus on building capacity and capability for innovation and entrepreneurs at national, state, and local levels.
We are building a delegation of leaders from Australia to join the conversation, build networks, and bring back opportunities.
An example of some of the opportunities that are expected include:
- Speaking with managers of venture capital investment funds collectively valued in the hundreds of billions;
- Bringing together of national Ministers and entire political cabinets for policy discussions;
- Discissions with executive leaders from innovation portfolios in specialist sectors including space, agriculture, health, and more;
- Represent Australia to a global audience through VIP networking events and workshops; and
- Deep focused planning for innovation and entrepreneurship supporting areas of impact including regional transformation, youth, female, and Indigenous entrepreneur support.
VICTORIAN ENTREPRENEURS AND INNOVATORS
We are excited to offer funded positions for two (2) Innovation support providers or entrepreneurs based in Victoria to travel to join the Australian Delegation in Riyadh for the GEC, March 27-30, 2022. The purpose of the funding is to help innovation support providers and entrepreneurs based in Victoria who would benefit from the GEC and who can bring back outcomes to benefit the Victorian innovation ecosystem.
