GEN Cambodia Co-Organizes Kirirom Global Forum

The forum was a series of panel discussion set to explore pivotal themes shaping Cambodia’s trajectory towards progress and innovation involving Cambodia’s Vision to Become a Developed Country by 2050.

GEN Cambodia co-organized the Kirirom Global Forum on 25th February 2024 in Cambodia supporting its partners. The forum was a series of panel discussion set to explore pivotal themes shaping Cambodia’s trajectory towards progress and innovation involving Cambodia’s Vision to Become a Developed Country by 2050. This Forum was held for the first time in four year after the Pandemic for entrepreneurs, business partners, and collaborating organizations to inspire economic activities, cross-border investments, and cutting-edge technology to inspire progress. The organizations who have worked very hard to make this Forum possible included Peer Learning Hub, Kirirom Digital Inc., Asia To Asia, and Jobify. Gathered around a hundred people at vKirirom Pine Resort, the Forum was able to bring about like-minded people like Mr. Chy Sila from Sabay and also a board member of GEN Cambodia, Dr. Lay Kiri, CEO and Founder of ReanAi Plc, Mr. Satoru Tagawa, Software Engineer of Fixstars Solutions and many more to discuss the AI for Cambodia, necessary technology for agriculture, and how Cambodia can empower businesses through partnership. Cambodia has been a country who priority sectors like agriculture and tourism. For the past years, Cambodia has been among the tops in producing pepper, rice, and mango in the global markets – according to the panelists during the forum. The entrepreneurs who have leverage technologies to increase crop production and managing the farm are looking to have more talents to join their team to grow their businesses and agriculture startups in Cambodia.
