This year's GEW Germany will take place nationwide from November 13th to 19th, 2023 under the motto "Starting together". Whether digital or on-site, whether a consultation, a startup pitch or a simulation game – the format and topics of the Global Entrepreneurship Week Germany 2023 are just as diverse and innovative as the landscape of startups. There are, among other things, special events for young people, for university graduates, for founders, for those starting up in the skilled trades or for people with an immigration background, but also for those interested in starting a business who want to start a business as a sideline or those who are aiming to succeed a company. The event calendar with the numerous offers from over 1,000 partners can be found at www.gruendungswoche.de.
Michael Kellner, Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection and Federal Government Commissioner for SMEs:
"To start or take over a company, you not only need self-confidence, creative ideas and a certain willingness to take risks, but also an inner attitude! With visions and the willingness to take on entrepreneurial responsibility, founders set out on their way to professional independence. The Gründungswoche Deutschland (GEW Germany) encourages them and provides important impulses for a new start-up culture in Germany. I invite you to make intensive use of the diverse offerings of this year's campaign week. I am also extremely pleased that the Global Entrepreneurship Network awarded the Gründungswoche Deutschland “Campaign of the Year” this year. “My deepest thanks go to the over 1,000 partners and sponsors of the GEW Germany."
On the occasion of the start of this year's Entrepreneurship Week in Germany, Kellner will honor their long-standing commitment and their entrepreneurial achievements in an exchange with partners of the Gründungswoche Deutschland and representatives of the (baking) crafts.
The Gründungswoche Deutschland is the German contribution to Global Entrepreneurship Week: an international campaign to promote innovative ideas and start-ups. The Global Entrepreneurship Network now includes over 190 countries worldwide that take part in Global Entrepreneurship Week.
In Germany, the RKW Competence Center is the nationwide coordination point for the founding week on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK) and the central contact for all actors and interested parties involved. The RKW Competence Center also represents the BMWK within the Global Entrepreneurship Network.
