Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) USA works to gather entrepreneurs across the country – bringing new audiences together and strengthening the connections of local ecosystems everywhere.

With this year's celebration on the horizon (Nov. 8-14, 2021), the GEW USA team will share a weekly roundup of some of the amazing activities and events being planned and happening across the United States. 

Through the GEW Weekly Roundup, you will find a collection of 'global picks' that explore each of the four themes for this year's celebration: EducationEcosystemsPolicy and Inclusion. Take a look at the recent press coverage.

  • Local Artisans to Participate in Global Entrepreneurship Week

    The Melanin Makers’ Market will host an event Nov. 13 titled “Maker-to-Maker — Sharing business best practices with The Melanin Makers Market” to serve as a platform for people of color to showcase and sell their products.

  • Brandywine LaunchBox to celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week

    The Brandywine LaunchBox is offering two events in collaboration with Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania: "Community Conversations – Women Entrepreneurs" will be held at noon on Nov. 9. This session will include a panel of accomplished regional female entrepreneurs; and "Meet Ben" will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 12. This session will discuss the resources available for entrepreneurs through Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania.

  • Partnership Events will Celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week

    The Greater Des Moines Partnership has a series of presentations planned to celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week.   • Global Entrepreneurship Month Offers Free Trainings, Support for Small Businesses in November

    This is the seventh year the Department of Commerce will lead the state’s participation in the events teed up by Global Entrepreneurship Week. Over the years, the department has co-hosted and coordinated more than 300 events in-person and online. Leading experts from state and federal agencies and the private sector will teach a collection of free online sessions this year.

    Stacey Vanek Smith, host of The Indicator from NPR’s Planet Money, will be the keynote speaker at Hudson, Ohio’s eighth celebration of Global Entrepreneurship Week on Thursday, November 11.

  • SourceLink Offers Session on Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Messaging
