An Affiliate of the Global Entrepreneurship Network
GEN Zambia
GEN began operating in Zambia when it partnered with ELIF Business Solutions to conduct the annual Global Entrepreneurship Week campaign. GEW celebrates the successes and impact of Zambia's entrepreneurs in an effort to reach new audiences and expand the number of people who become an entrepreneur. GEN Zambia was founded in 2021 as GEN's national affiliate with a mission to propel an entrepreneurship-led transformation of Zambia’s economy and showcase Zambia as a center of ecosystem excellence in Africa. It is focused on building a culture of collaboration in the country’s entrepreneurship ecosystem by facilitating networking and partnerships among public and private sector stakeholders. GEN Zambia seeks to develop a dynamic startup ecosystem in Zambia by ensuring access to the most relevant knowledge, networks, communities and programs.
