Global Entrepreneurship Week, Enterprise Challenge Qatar to take center stage November 17-23.
November 5, 2014: The Board of Global Entrepreneurship Week-Qatar (GEW-Qatar) announced today that Qatar Shell has joined as Gold Sponsor for GEW 2014, to be held November 17-23 this year.
This is the third year of GEW-Qatar, which in 2013 included over 60 separate events drawing almost 3000 attendees. Global Entrepreneurship Week-Qatar aims to build on the ambition of the country's youth by providing aspiring entrepreneurs with the tools and knowledge they need, by linking them with relevant organizations and mentors, by convening recognized local entrepreneurs to discuss regulatory and financial policies, and by fostering awareness of the rewards of entrepreneurship among the country's youth.
This year, GEW-Qatar is being held under the patronage of HE Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim Al Thani, Minister of Economy and Commerce.
